FBI INVESTIGATING ATTEMPTED JEWELRY HEIST

The FBI is looking for four men who attempted to heist jewelry from a Rhode Island businessman. The attempted robbery took place this morning at the Chevron Gas Station, 7375 SW 57th Avenue, Miami, Florida. The robbers were driving a white Dodge SUV, possibly a Durango. The SUV pulled into the gas station and one of the subjects got out of the vehicle and smashed the victim's car window. The victim was able to escape, but crashed into the subjects' vehicle. The subject who got out of the vehicle is described as a white, Hispanic male; around 25 years old; 5 feet 4 inches tall; medium complexion; wearing a patterned, dark colored bandana. The SUV will have damage to the front passenger side.

The case is being investigated by the South American Theft Group Task Force which includes the FBI, the Miami-Dade Police Department, the Coral Gables Police Department and FDLE.
