Title 18, U.S.C., Section 1592 - Unlawful Conduct with Respect to Documents in Furtherance of Trafficking |
This statute makes it unlawful to destroy, conceal, remove, confiscate or possess the identification or travel documents of another person to hold them in service in violation of any servitude or trafficking offense, or to restrict the persons liberty to travel in order to maintain the labor or services of that person.
Punishment varies from a fine to imprisonment of up to five years or both.
